Job description

  • Supervise offshore structural construction activities in compliance with project specifications.
  • Conduct structural analysis and design calculations using industry-standard software (e.g., SACS, Tekla, SAP2000).
  • Develop detailed engineering drawings for both tendering and execution phases.
  • Utilize advanced 2D/3D modeling tools for structural detailing (experience with PTSC-MC, VSP, PV Shipyard, PVE, Technip projects is advantageous).
  • Prepare comprehensive technical bid submissions, including methodology development, project planning, and quantity take-offs.
  • Compile technical tender and inquiry documentation in accordance with client requirements and relevant codes and standards.
  • Review and control engineering deliverables, including calculations, procedures, and drawings.
  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and correspondence throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidate requirements

  • Gender: Male, good health.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or construction disciplines (preference for Offshore Engineering / Marine Structural Engineering graduates from Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in structural analysis and design engineering roles.
  • Proficient in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Strong computer skills, including AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with specialized software such as SACS, OFFPIPE, MOSES, and ORCAFLEX i preferred.
  • Good understanding of relevant technical standards, including API, DNV, and Noble Denton.
  • Experience in preparing, reviewing, and controlling engineering calculations, method statements, and drawings.
  • Experience in supervising and handling transportation and load-out operations at fabrication yards.
  • Professional working attitude with strong responsibility, integrity, proactiveness, and ability to work independently.
